Kleinberg & Lerner, LLP opened in 1985 with one goal in mind: to successfully assist its clients in intellectual property matters in an effective and efficient manner.

We Know Intellectual Property Law
Unlike most law firms, we focus primarily on intellectual property matters. This allows our attorneys to gain significantly more intellectual property experience than many attorneys at other firms. Most attorneys at K&L are registered patent attorneys with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, some of our attorneys have been USPTO patent examiners and worked as in-house counsel for global corporations.
Many intellectual property firms focus solely on prosecution. Our firm does prosecution and litigation. Our partners have successfully tried jury trials and argued intellectual property cases before federal and state courts of appeal. We believe that having a large breadth of understanding of intellectual property prosecution and litigation is important in successfully representing our clients, even if they only need assistance in one area.

Our attorneys have excellent credentials, some attorneys being former engineers and having technical degrees in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, biochemistry and molecular and cell biology.
